Objectives
The Energy Conservation Center contributes to the efficient use of energy and protection of the global environment.

Activities
By increasing public awareness of energy conservation, as well as promoting education, innovative lifestyles and provision of information in the industry, consumer and transportation sectors, ECCJ carries out extensive activities to realize the efficient use of energy, protect the global environment, and create energy-efficient communities. Sample Projects
  • Smart Life promotes energy efficiency in the home. It is ECCJ's proposal for a new energy conserving lifestyle. To promote this concept and educate the public about it, ECCJ is strengthening cooperation with newspapers, TV stations, and other mass media outlets, and effectively uses PR tools such as posters, leaflets, and video. In summer and winter when energy consumption is high, ECCJ carries out energy-saving campaigns in major cities around Japan.

Smart Life promotes energy efficiency in the home.
  • Ene Con Ambassador is compiled from the tabloid paper published by ECCJ four times a year and published to it's web site. It introduces the energy conservation activities of local NGO groups in Japan
